this site is designed to do just that, remind you that not every pain, bump and scratch needs extreme medical attention. this site recommends the basics + provides some much needed medical humor. it promotes the bare minimum with no gadgets or pretty colored pills, simply what is recommended for everyday people to get over everyday pains and minor illnesses. don’t freak out people, it’s just a cold.

the belgium coke website has gone on summer vacation. literally. check out the site and short flash intro, depicting the site heading off to the beach.

while the site is on vacay – they’re driving all traffic to their social networks. a smart way to get users to interact with fb, etc. i’d be interested to see the numbers during this little stunt.

if you’re gonna buy swimwear, may as well do it through a faux exotic island experience. lands’ end is trying something new with their summer retail “island.” kudos – i think it’s a job well done. visit the island.

the man who motivated michael jordan…

leroy  smith – the man who took the last spot on michael jordan’s high school varsity team, leaving mj for jv – is now claiming to be jordan’s first “motivator.” the comical site is well done – a complete experience incorporating a facebook fan page and a regularly updated twitter account. there is even a petition to sign to get him in the hall of fame.

although i don’t know what the site is { really } for… some speculate nike { perhaps a new release of air jordan shoes } in which case – what an amazingly elaborate teaser.

from anthropologie. be sure to check out the video case study to hear from anthropologie creative director, trevor lunn. talk about a dream job. their corporate offices look amaaaazing. and i love how they mix textures – clothes + collateral designs. i’m especially into the uses of paper in their online work, like showcased in this website. { just click on the anthropologie tab, bottom right corner }  love it. love it. love it!!!
